Seed Phrase

Seed phrase (mnemonic phrase) is a sequence of 12 or 24 random words from which all private keys of a non-custodial wallet can be mathematically derived. A seed phrase is generated once when the wallet is created and serves as its complete backup key.

Example: abandon ability able about above absent absorb abstract absurd abuse access accident

Whoever has access to the seed phrase controls all funds across all addresses of the wallet, permanently and irreversibly.

⚠️ Critical

  • Never store your seed phrase digitally (photos, cloud storage, messengers)
  • Write it down by hand on paper and keep it in a physically secure place
  • Never enter it on websites or in applications — except in the official wallet when restoring access
  • No one should ever ask you for your seed phrase
