Bull market

Bull market is a period of sustained price growth in the market, when most assets increase in value and market participants are optimistic. The name comes from the image of a bull striking upward with its horns.

In cryptocurrency markets, a bull market is typically characterized by Bitcoin rising above previous highs, an influx of new participants, and an increase in the total market capitalization.

Opposite: Bear market
