How to Buy Cryptocurrency ​

Overview ​

You can buy cryptocurrency through the Spot Trading section using the available funds in your account.

A purchase is made by creating an order for the selected trading pair.

Before Buying ​

Make sure that:

  • you have a Cifra X account
  • your account has the required currency for the purchase (for example, USDT)

Step-by-Step Guide ​

  1. Go to the Trading section
  2. Select the required trading pair

Examples:

  • BTC/USDT — buying BTC with USDT
  • ETH/USDT — buying ETH with USDT
  1. In the Buy section, select the order type:

Market Order ​

  1. Select Market
  2. Enter the purchase amount
  3. Click Buy

The order will be executed at the current market price.

Limit Order ​

  1. Select Limit
  2. Enter the purchase price
  3. Enter the cryptocurrency amount
  4. Check the total transaction amount
  5. Click Buy

The order will be executed when the market price reaches the specified value.

After Buying ​

After the order is successfully executed:

  • the purchased cryptocurrency will appear in your Spot account
  • you can view transaction details in the Transaction History section

Possible Issues ​

Insufficient Funds ​

Check:

  • the balance of the selected currency
  • the transaction amount

Order Is Not Executed ​

For a limit order:

  • check the specified price
  • wait until the market price reaches the set value

Error When Creating an Order ​

Check:

  • the selected trading pair
  • the entered values
  • available balance
