How Google Authenticator (2FA) Works
Overview
Google Authenticator provides an additional layer of account security. It is used during login, account recovery, and withdrawals.
When 2FA Is Required
Google Authenticator verification is required:
- when logging into your account
- when recovering your password (if enabled)
- when withdrawing funds
How Verification Works
- Open the Google Authenticator app
- Enter the current verification code
- The system checks whether the code is valid
- If the code is correct, the requested action is completed
Important
- verification codes refresh approximately every 30 seconds
- each code can only be used once
- access to the Google Authenticator app is required to complete verification
